This will be a great opportunity for the children and our community to experience a visit to a health facility in a positive light, it will help to engage and further educate the children in ‘Closing The Gap’ in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health.

Activities, a performance and lunch will be available at the event.

National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day (Children’s Day) is a time for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to celebrate the strengths and culture of their children. The day is an opportunity for all Australians to show their support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, as well as learn about the crucial impact that community, culture and family play in the life of every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child.

The theme for Children's Day 2023 is – Loud voices Loud futures
