At Hadfield Early Learning Centre we will be celebrating on the land of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge and will be celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day by incorporating Indigenous perspectives into our curriculum and implementing a kinder sporting event at our local park and end with a picnic. During the picnic, the children will enjoy the salt bush Dukkah spice dip that they made at the centre. The children will take part in traditional Indigenous games and sports at the local park on the Wiradjuri Land. We are inspired by the importance of keeping children of all cultures together, to grow up strong and we hope our day fosters joy for all children.
