Valleys is a Rugby League club located at Bega Street Grange, Brisbane.
On 21 August we are holding an Indigenous Round and Family Fun Day where we will celebrate the culture of our past and present players, supporters and community.
We have chosen a date in August to align with the Month of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day.
We will be doing an official launch of our Indigenous Jersey which was designed by a very talented local aboriginal artist to represent our clubs history. We are planning a wide range of activities for the whole family to enjoy that will celebrate and promote education and cultural awareness.
We will have a range of stallholders who will promote their business/organisations and have the opportunity to sell their products including artwork, jewerelly and foods.
Deadly Choices will be on site to facilitate traditional games and other activities and we will have a range of other activities for children to enjoy.
