We are celebrating from 31/07/23 – 04/08/2023. Every day we will
1/ watch a video of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander dancing, then dance with them
2/ make bracelets in the the colours of either the flag of The Torres Strait Islanders or Aboriginal flag
3/ Make a collage of either flag and learn the significance of the colours and symbols
4/ we will learn little about the Torres Strait Islands &make Dhari headresses to wear when dancing
5/ enjoy an indigenous story video, and read a story directly from a book
6/ colour in pencil or paint, the picture from the Coolamon story
