Centrecare and partner agency (ACCO) staff will take part in a shared lunch and discussions around the significance of National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day.
Aboriginal staff are contributing personal short video clips of their children to share with colleagues.
Their children aged from 2 to 12 years, will be sharing 'Who they are' and 'What they want to be when they get older'.
Other short videos will also be shared with staff to inform and reiterate the importance of keeping our kids safe and providing best practice to families (children) by working in a culturally safe space. Centrecare have utilised the free downloadable resource available from SNAICC for this years theme and hope staff can share with their own children where possible.
